The N.S.S. Scheme is in the forefront in making student to willfully contribute to the needs of the society. It tries to uphold and spread valuable ideas which are a spring board to the needs board to the youth. The national service scheme of our college has a very brilliant track record. The college has a strong NSS Unit consisting of 50 volunteers and Dr. Chandrakant B.Shende, Department of Botany is the programme officer of N.S.S. unit. Every year we initiate a large number of innovative programmes. We conduct several regular activities such as Seminars, workshops, awareness campaigns, career guidance programme, cultural programmes, blood donation camp, tobacco awareness etc. which the volunteers undertake concurrent with their studies. Different programme chalked out with view to achieve personality development of volunteers through community service, which is motto of national service scheme. During the year 2018-19 we conducted NSS camp at Shivrajpur Village, Taluka-Desaiganj With subject “Cleanliness for Nation’s Development”.

7. Appointed as NSS Co-ordinator of Gadchiroli district area for years 2021- 23.
8. Worked as member of “Yuva Mahiti Doot” by UNICEF jointly with Gondwana University.
9. Worked as team leader of Prerna camp – 2023 at R.T.M. University, Nagpur.
